Curtis Wayne Abbott, Sr., age 68, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Care Center in Paducah.
Curtis was born on September 8, 1956 in Madisonville, KY to the late Walley and Katherine Huddleston Abbott. Curtis loved his family dearly and was a father figure to many. He enjoyed fishing and squirrel hunting. In the summer months, Curtis could be found tending to his garden giving special care to his tomatoes. Curtis was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky Baker Dunkerson of Princeton, KY; sons, Randall (Jennifer) Baker of Princeton, KY, Curtis Abbott, Jr. (Brandy), of El Mirage, AZ; brother, Thomas Abbott of Princeton, KY; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Curtis is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Asher Abbott; sister, Debbie Sue Abbott; two grandchildren, Bobbi Joe Sizemore and Easton Hawk Abbott; one great grandchild, Willow Monaghan.
Memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Highland Baptist Church in Princeton Friday, December 20, 2024.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2024 at Highland Baptist Church in Princeton with Rev. Richie McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
