A true bill was returned on Christopher Oliver of Princeton on charges of fourth-degree assault, third or more offense within 5 years, and second-degree criminal trespassing.

Oliver was arrested on October 20 after Princeton Police responded to a domestic assault in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street.

On October 20, Princeton Police said officers tried to stop a car driven by Williams at the request of the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office in connection to a domestic violence complaint in the county. Williams is accused of fleeing from police,  abandoning the vehicle at the Princeton Post Office, and running. Officers said they found illegal items in the vehicle.

Williams was arrested after the victim reportedly told police he was at her house on West Young Circle.

A misdemeanor indictment was returned on Ronald Stewart of Cerulean on charges of DUI, first offense, and possession of marijuana. The grand jury amended a felony charge of possession of marijuana firearm enhanced to possession of marijuana and returned the case to Caldwell County District Court.

The grand jury returned a no true bill on Gorden Hatt of Princeton on a charge of second-degree fleeing or evading police. However, the grand jury did issue a misdemeanor indictment against Hatt for second-degree disorderly conduct and a violation of alcohol intoxication, returning the case to Caldwell District Court.
