Acting on information from Trigg County, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate a wanted Cadiz man in the Cobb area on Thursday.
Sheriff Don Weedman says they were sent to the area to try and locate 42-year-old Jason Sharp, who was wanted on a felony assault charge stemming from a Wednesday incident in Trigg County.
Deputies were able to locate Sharp walking in a field behind his family’s residence and took him into custody.
Sharp was served warrants charging him with second-degree assault; first-degree strangulation, terroristic threatening; and two counts of felony criminal mischief.
Sharp was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
