A Princeton man, who had been on the run from local authorities, was arrested in Lyon County this week.
Lyon County Sheriff Brent White reported that Deputy David Carroll, along with Kentucky State Police troopers, apprehended 44-year-old Billy Poe on Monday evening at a residence on KY 293 near Saratoga. Poe was a fugitive wanted for violating parole by absconding from supervision.
Sheriff White noted that Poe is a registered sex offender, having been convicted in Lyon Circuit Court for the unlawful use of electronic means to entice a minor.
Poe was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
