Rita Faye Wilkerson, age 66, of Princeton, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Born on August 21, 1958, to the late George Clevenger and Minnie Lorene Flynn Wilkerson, Rita was a caregiver to many that she loved. She put others and their needs in front of her own. Rita enjoyed spending time with her family and going places, especially with her granddaughter, Laeisha. Rita also enjoyed playing cards, attending stock car races with her son and great-grandchildren, watching UK basketball and the news with her daughter, Sabrina, and watching the Chicago Cubs. She enjoyed her food, most of all her cheeseburgers and coffee. Rita was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
Rita is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Wilkerson (Tony Sanders) of Hopkinsville, KY; son, Justin (Melissa) Wilkerson of Caldwell County; cherished granddaughter, Laeisha Wilkerson; sister, Debbie (Gordon) Ramage of Princeton, KY; brother, Gary Wilkerson of Princeton, KY; several bonus grandchildren; twelve bonus great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Kilgore.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Wallace is officiating.
