While 2024’s weather may leave like a lamb, 2025 will likely enter as a lion — and possibly a snow lion.

The average temperature for January is 35 degrees. In four of the past six years, January’s average temperature has been above average. The last time the average temperature in January was below 30 degrees was 1994 when it was 27 degrees.
