Newsom’s Old Mill Store has announced the store in Princeton will be featured in an episode on KET this weekend.

According to an announcement on social media, Newsom’s Country Ham will be featured in Season 5 Episode 1 of the “Farmer and the Foodie,” which is scheduled to air Saturday afternoon at 3:30 ET. Viewings will follow the Saturday debut on KET on Monday at 12:30 ET on KET2 and Monday evening at 5:30 ET on KET. Episodes are also viewed as repeats on YouTube and the PBS network.

The show’s hosts Maggie Keith and Lindsey McClave and the KET crew were in Princeton in April and again in May, talking with Nancy Newsom Mahaffey and John, and viewing the hams and Newsom’s Old Mill Store.

Newsom’s Old Mill Store, which opened in 1917 in downtown Princeton, is a staple to the community and sells several different types of ham, including their famous country ham and “Preacher” BBQ ham, as well as traditional country products like preserves, produce, plants, sorghum, and candies.
