Virginia “Dell” Reece Rogers, age 93, of O’Fallon, MO, and formerly of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Garden View Care Center of O’Fallon, MO.
Virginia was born on November 3, 1931, in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Joseph Lucian and Ruth Ann Riley Reece. Virginia loved art and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Vonnie Vaughn; sons, Wayne Baker and Donald Baker; sisters, Jean Smiley and Paulette Knaga; brothers, Joseph Reece and Dickie Ray Reece; grandchildren, Landon Cooper, Alex Baker, Autumn Baker, Amber Jones and Stephanie Vaughn; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Leslie Baker, second husband, Waylon Rogers; daughter, Linda Baker-Crimm; sister, Juanita Rutherford; brother, James “Jack” Reece.
Visitation for Virginia will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Faughn is officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Lyon County.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
