Terrel LeAnn Wallace, passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 60, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on September 14, 1964, in Memphis, Tennessee, Terrel’s gentle spirit and warm heart touched everyone she met. She leaves behind a legacy of love, education, and unwavering faith.
Terrel was the cherished wife of Willard Glenn Wallace for 18 years and the beloved daughter of Joseph Paul Duncan. Her life was a testament to the love she had for her family, including her daughters, Cassie (Jason) Green of Poplar Bluff, Abby Hill of Poplar Bluff, Bethany (Elliot) Riddle of Cerulean, Priscilla (Wesley) Sanderson of Cerulean; her sons, Lane (Ashley) Hill of Poplar Bluff, Nolan Hill of Adams, TN, Daniel (Brie) Hill of Poplar Bluff; and her step-daughters, Samantha (Lee) Robinson of Hopkinsville, Shellie (Matt) White of Hopkinsville, Miranda (Jeremy) Bridges of Dawson Springs. Terrel’s brothers, Doug Styke of Harrogate, TN, and Dave Styke of Indianapolis, IN, also survive her. Her joy was multiplied by her adoring grandchildren, Gage Futrell, Maddyx Hill, Shelby Hill, Trenton Green, Jacob Mathias, Adelyn Riddle, Alaina White, Easton Riddle, Wade Sanderson, Trinity Green, Emerie Riddle, Presley Sanderson, Reagan Lewis, Hudson White, Kinsley Hill, Everleigh Riddle, Bodie Riddle, and Walker Sanderson.
Terrel was preceded in death by her loving mother, Carole June Kanell; step mother, Jean Duncan; brother, Mike Styke. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
A dedicated science teacher at Mahaffey Middle School in Ft. Campbell, KY, Terrel inspired countless students with her passion for knowledge and her unwavering encouragement. She was not just a teacher but also a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light to the young minds she nurtured.
Terrel was an active and devoted member of the Living Hope Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN, where her faith and love for her community shone brightly. Her interests were as nurturing as her personality; she loved animals, took pleasure in gardening, and was a culinary artist, especially known for her delicious apple butter. Terrel’s creative spirit was evident in her crafts and the beautiful quilts she made. A true Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she shared her love for football with all who knew her. Above all, Terrel loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Living Hope Church, Sango, in Clarksville, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 11, 202,5 at Living Hope Church, Sango, in Clarksville, TN with Pastor Derek Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery at 3:30 pm.
