During its January session, the Caldwell County Grand Jury issued four felony indictments, including three individuals arrested on meth-related and weapon charges during a home visit by Probation and Parole officers.

True bills were returned on Chelsea Rita Jo Beasley, of Paducah, Randi Essawi, of Auburn, and Heath Matthew Rogers, of Princeton. Beasley was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Essawi was indicted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rogers was indicted on charges of receiving stolen property under $10,000, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

The charges stem from November 21, 2024, when Kentucky Probation and Parole officers and Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a home visit on Center Street where the trio were taken into custody after an investigation.

The grand jury also indicted Byrson Ezell of Dawson Springs on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and public intoxication related to an incident on November 9, 2024, which was investigated by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
