The Dawson Springs Board of Education is currently seeking interested community members to apply for one of the two current open seats on the board.
If selected by the board, school officials said the new board member would fill the seat until the next regular election in November of 2026 when they would need to run for the remaining two years of the unexpired term which would be December 31, 2028.

The deadline for all applications is at noon Friday, January 24. According to school officials, the board may take action on potential applicants at its January 27th meeting.
