Officials with Dawson Springs Independent Schools have shared key reminders for the Homecoming ceremony and dance scheduled for this weekend.
School officials announced that the homecoming ceremony is set for Friday, January 24, taking place between the girls’ and boys’ games, beginning at approximately 7:15 PM. The dance is planned for the following Saturday, featuring a middle school dance from 5-7 PM and a high school dance from 7-9 PM.
The guest policy and dress code for high school students are as follows:
For the high school dance, students are allowed to bring guests from other schools, but must first obtain a verified guest form from Mrs. Robinson.
Students should check the school’s code of conduct for the official homecoming dress code policy to ensure their attire meets the criteria. Officials noted that students not adhering to the dress code may be refused entry to the dance. If there are any doubts regarding the dress code, school officials recommend checking with a school administrator before making any purchases for the occasion.
