Lorene “Reenee” Wesmolan, age 72, of Gilbertsville, passed away on January 26, 2025, at home.
Reenee was born November 3, 1952, to the late Phyllis Jarrett. She was a loving caregiver and enjoyed playing bingo. Her greatest passion and love was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Kim) Wesmolan of Possum Trot, KY, Zack Wesmolan of Piedmont, MO; grandchildren, Lauren (Alex) Galvan, Gracie (Michael Moeller) Wesmolan, Macey Wesmolan, Veyda Wesmolan and Kase Wesmolan; great-grandchildren, Branton Hillis, Alexander Galvan and Brinlee Moeller; niece, Lisa Jarrett of Gillispie, IL; nephew, Ray (Dawn) Shaw of Gillispie, IL; sister-in-law, Gladys Jarrett of Piedmont, MO; several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hank Wesmolan; father, Doc Ward; brother, Dale Jarrett.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Lakeland Funeral Home and from 10:00 am until 11:00 am Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Lakeland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Lakeland Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion.
