Princeton Man and Hopkinsville Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

A Princeton man and his passenger from Hopkinsville were arrested on multiple drug-related charges over the weekend.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison reported that officers were investigating a non-injury accident in the 1400 block of Hopkinsville Road shortly before 1:30. on Saturday afternoon when 60-year-old Bruce Moore of Princeton drove through the scene, ignoring officers’ commands as they directed traffic. As officers approached the vehicle, he said they observed an object being thrown from it, which was later identified as methamphetamine, with marijuana also discovered inside the vehicle.

According to police, Moore admitted to using drugs and was determined to be under the influence of intoxicants.

Moore and his passenger, 57-year-old Mark Keene of Hopkinsville, were both taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and tampering with physical evidence. Additionally, Moore was charged with DUI and ignoring and disregarding signals of an officer directing traffic.

Both men were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
