Sandy Green, 75, of Dycusburg, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on July 21, 1949, in Crittenden County to her late parents, Austin Thomas and Dorothy Lee Brown Patton. Throughout her life, Sandy was dedicated to her work, providing comfort and care through her housekeeping services at Prizer Point and Hilltop Nursing Facility. She took immense pride in her work and the loving home she maintained. Above all else, Sandy’s greatest love was her family. A constant presence at her grandchildren’s ball games, she was their biggest cheerleader with unwavering support and encouragement.
Sandy is survived by her daughter, Jenni Padon (Shane) of Salem; her son, Chris Green (Cher) of Paducah; her sisters, Bonnie Fralick (Bobby) of Kuttawa, and Brenda Duncan (Ruben) of Kuttawa; her grandchildren, Nicholas Richardson (Danielle), Morgan Green, Skylar Padon, Savannah Padon; her adored great-granddaughter, Elyse Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kerry Preston Green; and her brothers, Bobby Neil Patton and Thomas Ross Patton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Lakeland Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Asbridge Cemetery in Crittenden County.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Lakeland Funeral Home.
