Gary Stewart, age 54, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Princeton.
He was born on October 30, 1970, in Princeton to Brent Stewart and the late Jeri Stewart. Gary worked as a business agent for Local 181, where his commitment and hard work left a lasting impression on his colleagues and those he represented. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Gary never passed up an opportunity for good fishing either.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Stewart; daughter, Elizabeth (Michael) Dillard of Louisville; step-daughters, Bailey (Foster) Leavell of Hopkinsville and Olivia Floyd of Benton; sisters, Carolina Stewart of Princeton and Gerilynn Beavers of Princeton; grandchildren, Hadlee Floyd, Eliza Leavell, Ayla Dillard, Aceyn Dillard, Lottie Leavell, Lettie Duncan, Alijah Dillard, Hayes Leavell, Amory Dillard and Iylee Duncan
In addition to his mother, Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Stewart.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2025 ,at Millwood Cemetery in Caldwell County with Bro. Bobby Noel officiating. Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
