Following a recent retirement, the Princeton Fire Department has announced a new assistant volunteer fire chief has been sworn in.
During Monday night’s Princeton City Council meeting, Fire Chief Brent Francis announced that Jonathan Chewning was sworn in as the assistant volunteer fire chief earlier that afternoon.

Chief Francis also noted that January was a busy month, but February has begun on a somewhat calmer note.
