The Caldwell County Grand Jury issued indictments last week, addressing a range of offenses including burglary and assault.
A true bill was returned on Victoria Knoth, of Princeton, on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence with an aggravator attached and first-degree assault.
The charges are from a June 5, 2024, two-vehicle crash on Cadiz Road near Hopson, investigated by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies reported that Knoth crossed the centerline, hitting an SUV driven by Cheryl Fox, of Princeton, who had to be extricated from her vehicle by Princeton Fire and Rescue. Fox was flown to Nashville for treatment of injuries and Knoth was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Paducah.
The grand jury indicted William Douglas Stoltenburg, of Marion, on charges of first-degree burglary, resisting arrest, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Stoltenberg was arrested on November 30, 2024, at Walmart after Princeton Police reported that employees had identified him as previously being trespassed from the store. He’s also accused of resisting arrest and having a loaded pistol on him along with stolen merchandise at the time.
Travis Stinnett, of Princeton, was indicted on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree assault, violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and four misdemeanor offenses.
Stinnett was arrested following a Princeton Police investigation on November 1, 2024, after officers responded to a domestic assault and EPO violation on Bell Street. He is accused of punching a woman with an active EPO against him and intentionally ramming a parked vehicle, endangering nearby bystanders.
A true bill was returned on Johnny Wayne Grace, of Princeton, on charges of first-degree strangulation and two counts of fourth-degree assault.
The charges are in connection to a Princeton Police investigation into a domestic disturbance on Harvey Lane. Grace is accused of assaulting a woman by covering her mouth to prevent her from breathing on November 13, 2024, and allegedly striking her multiple times on November 16, 2024.
Tab Delancey, of Paducah, was indicted on a single charge of third-degree burglary from an incident on December 4, 2024, which was investigated by the Princeton Police Department.
