Adrian Gray Boyd, 70, of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.
Born on October 17, 1954, in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, to her mother, Christine Harris Dooley and late father, Gene Allen Dooley, Adrian was a woman of remarkable spirit and love. Adrian’s life was a testimony to the power of positivity and the richness of a life well-lived. Adrian touched many lives in her professional career as a Regional Staffing Manager for People Plus. Family time was her most treasured times, creating moments that turned into memories. She also enjoyed her favorite pastimes, traveling and exploring new places. The thrill of the casino and bingo were also much-loved pastimes. She was a member of Shepherd Street Baptist Church.
Adrian became the revered matriarch of an extensive family and is survived by her daughters, Alicia (Kevin) Boyd Winburn, Patina McGowan, Tammy Martin, Sonya Dowell of Virginia, Kim Watson, and Gleneta Watkins; sons, Demetria McGowan, Stewart Boyd, Jr., William Allon Boyd, Jeffery Watkins, and Warrick Boyd; sister, Darnette Leavell; brothers, Gary Dooley, Benson Dooley, and Khalil Dooley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her father, Adrian was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Edward Boyd; and her son, Andre Gray.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
