Earlier this week, the Princeton Fire Department proudly celebrated the swearing-in of two of its members as assistant fire chiefs.

On Monday, City Clerk Julie Poole administered the Oath of Office to Tim Cook and Jonathon Chewning.

According to city officials, Cook has dedicated 38 years to the fire department, including 20 years in the role of assistant fire chief.

Chewning has served 12 years in the department and was promoted from the rank of captain to assistant fire chief.

City officials thanked both Cook and Chewning for their dedication and service to our community.
