Wyndal J. Haile, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 9, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on May 2, 1934, Wyndal’s life was a testament to his enduring faith and dedication to his family.
Wyndal’s life was one of service and commitment, marked by his work as a skilled machinist for the International Shoe Company of Hopkinsville, KY, and his honorable service as an Army Veteran where he operated the radio while serving in Germany. His pursuit of knowledge led him to graduate with a practical electrician degree, further showcasing his dedication to personal growth and professional excellence.
A man of deep faith, Wyndal was a pillar in the Princeton Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon and shared his love for music. His guitar playing was not just a hobby but a way to connect with others and express his spiritual devotion. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. Those who knew Wyndal will remember him as a loving and faith-filled man.
Wyndal is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Geraldine Haile of Princeton; his daughter, Cherilyn Jeanon “CJ” Maloney of Princeton; two sisters, Sue Schroeder Sabens of Hoover, AL, and Joyce Baker of Hoover, AL; one brother, Dwight Haile of Calvert City; two grandsons, Evan Lee (Mary) Allen of Shepherdsville, KY, and Eric Brent Allen of Paducah and four great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Nikole Allen, Adalynn Summer Allen, Brentley Gunner Allen, and Alayna Ryder Allen.
Wyndal was preceded in death by his parents, William Gordon Haile and Anna Mae Hensley Haile, and his brothers, Harold W. Haile and Edwin M. Haile.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
