Shirley Jean Wells, 75, of Princeton, passed on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah. She was born on June 18, 1949, in Caldwell County, Kentucky to her late parents, Murl and Bessie Lee Jones.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Cindy Poindexter of Princeton; sister, Joyce Lee of Hixson, TN; five grandchildren, Damien Wells of Louisville, Sebastian Wells of Louisville, Brittany Poindexter Holland of Illinois, Michael Poindexter of Princeton, Sarah Poindexter of Princeton; and one great-grandson, Hades Holland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Wells.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
