The Caldwell County Primary School 2nd Graders are participating in a program this month where they have requested a card be mailed to them at school from every state in the United States.
The 2nd-grade teachers are using these cards to teach the students several subjects about each State as the cards are received and recorded. The card request went out at the end of January and within just a few days they began getting cards and currently have well over 200 cards.
Mindy Herran explained how the program got started.
