Bobby Sullivan, 72, of Caldwell County

Bobby Dale Sullivan, a cherished companion, loving father, and adored brother, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 23, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on February 21, 1953, in Hopkins County, KY.

Bobby Dale left a legacy of laughter and storytelling. His passion for automobiles and the thrill of the open road were outshone only by his love for his family. His life was an adventure, guided by meaningful conversations and the beautiful stories he so effortlessly created.

Debbie Rushing, his devoted companion of 32 years, shared enduring love with Bobby, through mutual respect, laughter, and unwavering support.

His legacy lives on through his daughters, Panda (Shawn) Manners of Evansville, IN, Sherri (Jerry) Patterson of Manitou, Stephanie (Dan) Wallace of Madisonville, Heather Sullivan of Princeton, Jennifer (Sam) Mitchell of Caldwell County, Sarah (Curtis) Riddle of Newburgh, IN, and Hanna Rushing (Anthony) of Madisonville. His sons, Bobby Sullivan, Jr of Indianapolis, IN, Robbie (Kristy) Sullivan of Princeton, Scott Sullivan (Cayla) of Evansville, IN, and Kevin (Jennifer) Rushing of Blackford, will carry forward the strength and values he exemplified.

Bobby was a loving brother to his siblings, Arwonia Adams of Earlington, Donna Prow of Newburgh, IN, Barry Sullivan of Princeton, Troy Sullivan of Princeton, and Randy Sullivan of Spencer, TN.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Willie Sullivan, his mother, Ruby Lee Chappell Sullivan, his sister, Barbara Malone, and his brother, Billy Sullivan.

His numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren will miss the twinkle in his eye and the warmth of his embrace. He relished his role as a Papi, taking great pride in each of them.

An enthusiast for all things automotive, Bobby could often be found working on a car or sharing tales of his motoring adventures. His great love for the outdoors was matched by his love for storytelling, often captivating friends and family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 202,5 at 1:00 PM at Morgan’s Funeral Home with L. J. Granstaff officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery in Hopkins County.
