Jeannie Anderson, 80, of Princeton

Jeannie Anderson, aged 80, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Livingston Hospital in Salem, Kentucky.

She was born on February 25, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her late parents, Frank and Jane Chudzinski. Jeannie’s career at BellSouth began as a telephone operator and through her diligence and commitment, she retired as a clerk. She was of the Catholic faith. Jeannie held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, earning the loving nickname, Me-Me. Her role as a grandparent was lived with much love, filled with playing Nala and Simba from Lion King. Her laughter and joy were contagious, spreading happiness to all who knew her.

Among her many hobbies, Jeannie and her husband were often found crappie fishing. She loved cooking and kept an immaculate home. The skill of bargaining at garage sales was second nature to her, much like her love for gardening. She loved canning and nurturing the growth of her strawberries and blackberries, which she and her beloved husband, Rocky, raised and sold. Jeannie enjoyed traveling, with remarkable trips to Las Vegas and Alaska being among her cherished memories. She was also a formidable card player, enjoying games like Up And Down The River and Skip-Bo with friends and family.

In addition to her husband of 35 years, Clarence “Rocky” Anderson, Jeannie is survived by her daughter, Paula (Neil) Sartain of Lawton, OK; two step-daughters, Bobbie Anne Munsey of Houston, TX, Jessica Hinkle of Frankfort, KY; two grandchildren, Sarah Seeley of Austin, TX, Natalie Sartain of Round Rock, TX; four step-grandchildren, Palyn Hinkle and Brianne Hinkle of Frankfort, KY; Travis Munsey and Bobby Dale Munsey of Houston, TX; two nephews, David Chudzinski and Jimmy Chudzinski of Ohio; niece, Lisa Kabay of Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Chudzinski; daughter, Kimberly Ann Black; granddaughter, Megan Black.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Princeton with burial to follow in Millwood Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
