Community Youth Unite for D-NOW Weekend

The area-wide D-NOW experience was held over the weekend, which included students from various churches from the community.

The program formerly known as Disciple Now brings the excitement and training that students are offered at large conferences to their local communities. The program began Friday night at Southside Church with a worship service and small groups plus games, each church group then spent the night together in a host home. Saturday morning, they gathered at Northside Church for the second service with 2 more group sessions plus a noon meal. Saturday afternoon, there was a time of community service projects plus a scavenger hunt followed by the night session back at Southside.

WPKY was able to visit with the group during their lunch break and Josh Drake, Youth Pastor at Southside, gave an update on the activities.
