New Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Announced

The Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce Executive Board recently announced Jennifer Walters will be the new part-time executive director.

Walters will be filling the vacancy of Emma Peake, who resigned at the end of December to attend Murray State University as a full-time student.

Walters said she will be retiring in May from her role as a LAN Technician in the Technology Support Department of the Henderson County School System and will be relocating to Lyon County with her husband.

click to download audioAnother objective is to promote Caldwell County businesses through social media and the Chamber’s website. Walters noted that with many Chamber members, it’s important not only to promote them but also to help expand their businesses.

Walters also shared the assets of Princeton and Caldwell County that she believes can attract new businesses, emphasizing their appeal as a small town conveniently located near larger cities.

She expressed enthusiasm about her relocation and meeting Chamber members. Walters said that this opportunity has given her a renewed sense of purpose to take on this challenge.
