Superintendent Updates CCPS Board on Signage, Lightning Strike, and KHSAA Role

Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach recently updated Caldwell County school board members on new campus signage and addressed issues stemming from a recent lightning strike at the high school.

During a workshop meeting last week, Dr. Roach shared information about the new signs on campus with board members.

click to download audioHe also said they are addressing a lightning strike that occurred on campus at the high school about a month ago.

click to download audioAccording to Roach, the lightning strike hit in the parking lot and was close enough that it fried the HVAC controllers and fire alarms.

Dr. Roach also shared that he has been selected to serve on the KHSAA Board of Controls.
