Roy Howard “Howie” Bush, age 67, of Baytown, Texas, formerly of Princeton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, at his home. Born on July 20, 1957, in Princeton, Kentucky, Howie was a man whose friendly demeanor, loving nature, and kindness touched all who knew him. He graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1975.
Howie was a talented horse trainer and skilled carpenter, both professions that allowed him to express his creativity and love for animals. His passion for horses was not just a job but a way of life that brought him immense joy and fulfillment.
He leaves behind his cherished mother, Brenda Horning Young; his siblings, Tresa Bush Blackburn, Mike (Pat) Bush, Donna Jo (Jamie) Whitney, Robert (Stacy) Bush, Jammie (Greg) Zorn, and Linda Bush; and his beloved niece, Kimberly, along with several other nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Howie was preceded in death by his father, Howard Arless Bush; stepmother, Winnie Bush; and two step-brothers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
