Julie Wicker Bell, aged 65 of Kuttawa, a beloved matriarch, passed away on March 30, 2025, in Paducah, Kentucky. Born on May 10, 1959, in Crittenden County, KY.
Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Ray Bell of Kuttawa, KY. Together, they built a life rich in love and laughter. She was a cherished mother to Laura Neuman (husband Eric) of La Grange, KY, and Jake Bell (wife Mindy) of Paducah, KY. Her role as a grandmother to Anna, Gabe, and Jackson filled her with immense pride and happiness that knew no bounds. Julie’s siblings, Sarah Bellanger (husband John) of Berea, KY, and Brooks Wicker (wife Lynda) of Louisville, KY, remember her as the guiding light of the family. She leaves behind a loving network of in-laws, including Pat and Janis Perry, and Mike and Nancy Cooper, who will miss her dearly.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Scott and Patricia Summers Wicker, and her sister, Jennie Weill.
A true testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and creative prowess, Julie thrived as a self-employed artist. Her passion for art was only matched by her love for UK Basketball, which inspired some of her most spirited works and lively family gatherings. Those who knew Julie often commented on her living room filled with sounds of cheer during game season – a testament to her unwavering fandom.
