Caldwell County Road Department Superintendent David Waldrum has announced that Markham Road will be closed to traffic on Thursday to replace a failing culvert.
the road will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., starting at 650 Markham Road and extending beyond until the work is completed. He added that further updates will be provided as they become available.
