A Princeton man has been sentenced to more than 20 years in prison following a plea agreement in connection to the death of his wife in March 2024.
According to court documents, Eric Wright, along with public defender Mary Rohrer, appeared before Judge Jamus Redd in Caldwell Circuit Court last week, where he was sentenced to 21 years in prison for murder. Wright is not eligible for parole until he has served 85% of his sentence.
Wright was charged after state police conducted a death investigation of 27-year-old Rachel Tucker-Wright, of Princeton, that occurred at a home on Dripping Springs Road on March 26, 2024. She reportedly died from blunt force trauma.
Judge Redd remanded Wright to the Department of Corrections.
