Barbara Noel, 76, of Bartow, Florida

Barbara G. Noel, 76, of Bartow, Florida, passed on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She was born on December 31, 1948, in Princeton, Kentucky to her late parents, Kaylos Major Noel and Thelma Gladys Ramsey Noel. In her early adulthood, Barbara and her husband, Leon T. Crisp, Sr. moved to Florida. Barbara began her career dedicating herself to the provision of compassionate private and hospice care within the healthcare sector. Later, Barbara shifted her focus and talents to the insurance industry. After seventeen years of committed service, she culminated her career journey as a respected Senior Administrative Operations Representative at Summit Consulting.

Her life was anchored by three pillars: family, faith, and the deep love for her canine companions. Barbara was an exceptionally loving mother, reveling in the joys of loving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her dedication to her faith was unwavering, she enjoyed attending Living Water Church in Eagle Lake, Florida until she was no longer able to. Among her most cherished moments were those spent with her many dogs, especially her loyal German Shepherd, Silka, who stood by her as both protector and friend.

Barbara’s resilience shone brightly through life’s challenges, having bravely conquered cancer twice. She was the epitome of a survivor, inspiring those around her with her steadfast courage. Her passion for gospel music filled her home with harmony and hope, complementing her reputation as a faithful friend.

She is survived by two daughters, Michele Turner (Randy) of Eagle Lake, FL, Beverly Crisp (Veronica) of Holly Springs, NC; one son, Leon T. Crisp II (Nelly) of Holly Springs, NC; three sisters, Carol Lowery of Princeton, Wanda Patton of Princeton, Linda Marshall (Tommy) of Princeton; four grandchildren, Star Martin (Bobby), Jessica Malone (Caleb), Cooper Lee Crisp, Adeline Noelle Crisp; two step-grandchildren, Marlayna Turner, Drake Turner; six great-grandchildren, Lucas Malone, Camden Malone, Nicholas Martin, Connor Lee Martin, Eli Martin, Tristan Martin; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Leon T. Crisp Sr.; two sisters, Lois “Yvonne” Darnell, Doris Johnson; five brothers, Charles “Louard” Noel, Kalus “Eddie” Noel, James Dale Noel, Kenneth Ray Noel, Ronnie Wayne Noel.

Memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton, Kentucky with Lisa Johnson Short officiating. Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
