Caldwell Jr BETA Club Collects Shoes for Global Needs and National Competition

If you drove by the Butler Gym Saturday afternoon you may have seen some students standing on the sidewalks with signs and shouting we need shoes.

The story behind that is the Caldwell County Middle School Jr BETA Club is participating in a project that will benefit the club as well as those in other countries.

The Jr BETA Club recently competed in the State Jr BETA Club Competition and had 22 students qualify to compete in the National Jr BETA Club Convention to be held in Orlando. Club Sponsor Chelsea Ardrey explained they heard about a fundraiser that paid groups to collect shoes to send overseas to help those in need of shoes.
