The Caldwell County Conservation District took time Monday night to honor some outstanding farmers and two supporters of the district.
The conservation district’s annual dinner was held at Northside Baptist Church. The program was conducted by the Caldwell County FFA Officer team, with Abigail Drennan presenting an honor award to retired agriculture teacher and administrator Frank Brown for his support of the district throughout his career.

WPKY Community Reporter George Kilgore was also presented with an honor award by Drennan for sharing the message of the district.
The award was presented to Brown and Kilgore by Eddie Boone.
Daniel Laurent noted the accomplishments of Soil Health Hero award winner Andrew Berton, who received the award from Trevor Gilkey.
Laurent also noted the accomplishments of Mark and Tanner Cravens, who were presented with the Woodmen of the World Conservation Award presented Woodmen representative Josh Ray.
And Daniel Bugg presented the Master Conservationist award to Henry Birrell, with Noah Bailey noting his accomplishments.
To begin the program, Whitleigh Carter shared the history of the Caldwell County Conservation District.
