Princeton Planning Commission Administrator Jenny Clark briefed the city council Monday night on ongoing developments, including new housing plans for tornado victims.
Clark shared that she and Mayor Brock Thomas recently met with representatives from the Hope Initiative in Mayfield, who have plans to construct several houses in the community for residents who lost their homes during the December 2021 tornado.
click to download audioShe noted that the first home they plan to install will be a manufactured home, with initial funding provided by Samaritan’s Purse to launch the project.
In response to a question from Councilwoman Sheila Gates, Clark explained that she believes the loan is interest free and that the terms may vary based on whether the home is a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or three-bedroom model.
