Funeral services for 48-year old Wes York, of Fredonia, will be at 1:00 Thursday afternoon, May 26, at the C.A.B. at Caldwell County High School.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, and beginning at 11:00 Thursday morning, May 26. at the C.A.B. at CCHS.
Wes York was born on April 4, 1974, in Marion, Kentucky. Wes was raised in a Christian home by his adoring parents, Danny and Elaine York. Wes’ older sister, Wendy York Hall, doted on him from the day he was born until the day he left this earth. His younger brother, Josh, loved, admired him, and conspired with him from boyhood to manhood to fatherhood. Wes married Nikel Young 24 years ago and formed the inseparable bond of Wes and Nikel York that would last for all time. Wes and Nikel welcomed two beautiful babies into the world. They raised both Hannah York Feagan and Kylie York to be lovely Christian young women.
Wes was loved and admired by his father-in-law, the late Danny Young, his stepfather-in-law, the late Dwayne Robertson, his mother-in-law Deb Robertson, his sister-in-law Steph York, and his brothers-in-law Chris Young, Jared Robertson, and Steve Hall, and his son-in-law Drew Feagan.
Wes was the beloved uncle of Jessica and her husband Kent Wilcox, Jim Ed and his wife Jo Ellen Gill, Jacey and her husband Drew Myers, Laynie, Laila, and Tyson Wesley York. Wes also loved his five great-nieces – Chenoa, Kinley, Kenna, and Kendall Wilcox, and Gracie Mae Gill.
