Princeton Man Charged After Fleeing From Police

A Princeton man was arrested after he fled from police twice Monday afternoon.
Princeton Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison reports officers were attempting to serve an Emergency Protective Order at a residence near the 300 block of Stone Street around 3:50 p.m. He says when officers made contact with 31-year old William Abbott, he fled on foot. Police located Abbott on East Locust Street about an hour later and he again ran from officers but was apprehended and taken into custody. Abbott was charged with two counts of fleeing and evading on foot.
