Thanks to the generosity of the community and the money raised during June’s radio auction, the Princeton Optimist Club continues to give back to the youth in Caldwell and Lyon counties.
Club President George Kilgore says they made a donation to the Princeton Ducks to help them with their expenses. He says the Ducks are a traveling 10-U softball team made up of young players from the Princeton area. Kilgore said this donation was made possible by the support given to the club’s radio auction.
According to Kilgore, several members of the team, along with their parents, joined Optimist Club members when they presented the donation.
