A local non-profit organization has given a generous donation to the Caldwell Regional Career Center in Princeton to help support the education of our youth.
Paulette Gray and Laura Klubert, of the Princeton Rotary Club Scholarship committee, presented Caldwell Regional Career Center Principal Randy McCarty with a $2,000 check that will assist students in paying for testing and certification fees.
The Caldwell Regional Career Center is a trade school that offers hands-on job training for all students in Caldwell, Crittenden, Lyon and Trigg counties. The career center offers eight programs that include plumbing, automotive, welding, carpentry, health science, information technology and electricity. The students at the Caldwell Regional Career Center graduate with certificates in their fields of study and often are placed with a regional employer upon graduation.
