A disturbance at a Princeton hotel led to the arrest of a woman for theft of a vehicle Wednesday night.
According to Assistant Police Chief Shane Allison, officers were dispatched to the American Inn around 7:30 and upon arrival, they ran plates on vehicles thought to be involved in the disturbance. He says one of the vehicles that was checked came back as stolen out of Madisonville.
Allison says a further investigation revealed that Laura D. Huddleston, of Madisonville, claimed ownership of the stolen vehicle and was found in possession of the keys. She was taken into custody and charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000 less than $10,000. Huddleston was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
