Motorists that frequent Sandlick Road/KY 278 in Caldwell County will need to continue taking alternate routes until the start of next week.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet began repairs in this area Wednesday, and this work has now been extended — and won’t be completed until 9 AM Monday, August 22, and that’s when the road will reopen.
Work is being addressed at mile point 0.8, and traffic is not allowed to pass through this work zone. Thus, the reason to seek alternate routes.
