The Caldwell County Elementary School is preparing for the new year with major renovations.
Malissa Thomas in her fourth year as principal is excited for the public to see the changes made to the nearly 30-year old building. The open house will be held on Friday, August 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

click to download audioThe Elementary school contains grades 3 – 5 with an enrollment of 415 students. New teachers joining the staff this year are Meredith Evans in 3rd grade and Vicky Parker and Matt Fraliex both in 4th grade.
Amy Littlejohn teaches at the Elementary and gave a preview of what to expect during the open house.
