A Louisiana man was arrested after his semi overturned on KY 139 South in Caldwell County Monday afternoon.
Caldwell County Sheriff Chris Noel says deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident involving a tractor-trailer with no injuries shortly after 2:00 near the Davis Greenhouses.
An investigation by Deputy Evan Head determined the driver 27-year old Jeff Daphnis of Baton Rouge was traveling south on KY 139/Cadiz Road when the semi dropped off the shoulder of the road and he overcorrected, causing the semi to overturn.
Daphnis was taken into custody after Deputy Head also determined he was a fugitive wanted out of the state of Arkansas.
Cadiz Road was shut down for approximately 5 hours while a wrecker service and the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office cleaned up the scene.
