A Hopkins County teacher has been charged with distributing obscene matter to minors.
The Madisonville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation on Monday involving 39-year old Brandon Poole of Madisonville. Detectives determined that Poole reportedly showed an animated video that contained obscene matter to the students in his class.
Poole was taken into custody and charged with eleven counts of distribution fo obscene matter to a minor.
