A Fredonia man was arrested this week for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
Caldwell County Sheriff Chris Noel reports deputies were dispatched to Old Mexico Road for a welfare check shortly after 8:45 Tuesday night. After an investigation, 30-year old Tanner Lynch of Fredonia was taken into custody and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Lynch was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
