Caldwell Schools Partner With HR Ministries For Mentoring Program


HR Ministries is offering a mentoring program in conjunction with Caldwell County Schools to help students who may need some encouragement.
Brother Harrell Riley says the new opportunity and project is “Moving Forward” and they need some mentors.


click to download audioHe says the mentors will spend about 25 minutes with a student at the lunch table and have a common conversation about things going on in their life.


click to download audioBefore the pandemic, Bro. Harrell says this was a productive program and officials with Caldwell County schools are excited about this project.


click to download audioIn this day and age, he adds that having one more positive influence in a student’s life can hopefully help them.
Bro. Riley points out that there were some teachers and others that helped engage and encourage him when he was in school, which is what this mentoring program does with students.
