During Tuesday morning’s meeting, Caldwell County Fiscal Court approved funding to widen a county bridge and designated the Princeton Industrial Development Authority as the recipient to receive TVA funds.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling said the bridge fund will be used for widening a bridge on Hudgins Road for a cost of $22,960.

In other action, Executive Director Amanda Davenport of the Lake Barkley Partnership of Economic Development explained to magistrates adopting the resolution would designate the Princeton Industrial Development authority as the recipient of TVA funds for purchasing equipment.

Judge Curling added this is because of Senate Bill 14.

Magistrates also approved a surplus of tiles and culverts from the Caldwell County Road Department and compensation and stipend for duties performed by the deputy judge-executive.
