Woman Flown To Hospital After Webster County Wreck

A Slaughters woman was flown to an Evansville hospital after a three-vehicle wreck on U.S. 41 in Webster County Thursday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police Post 2 spokesman Trooper Brandon McPherson says the wreck occurred around 3:00 when 17-year old Sydney McCord of Slaughters was traveling north on U.S. 41 and attempted to make a left turn onto Ky 138 and turned into the path of a pickup truck driven by 27-year old Colton Parris of Hanson. The impact reportedly caused McCord’s car to hit a vehicle driven by 87-year old Donald Tompkins of Slaughters, who was stopped at the stop sign on KY 138.
A passenger in McCord’s vehicle, 78-year old Dora Ruby was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for treatment of injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by Kentucky State Police.
