WPKY will host a forum Thursday to provide an opportunity for our listeners to learn more about the candidates running for seats in Caldwell County in the upcoming general election on Tuesday, November 8th.
The forum will include candidates for Caldwell County District 1 Magistrate, Caldwell County Jailer, Princeton Mayor, 8th District State Representative, Caldwell County Sheriff and Caldwell County Judge Executive. The forum will be an informal discussion with The News Edge Director Alan Watts and WPKY Senior Reporter Tammy Hancock. Candidates will discuss the reason they are seeking office and will be asked questions concerning their future plans if elected. The candidates will also share their qualifications, experience and other information they feel qualifies them for the office they are seeking.
The forum will be held at the WPKY Studio on Thursday beginning at 5:45 after the 5:00 news. It will be aired live on WPKY 103.3 FM and 1580 AM, and it will be streamed live at wpkyonline.com and on the WPKY app.
